Winery Tour and Tasting Ticket for 1 person

Set in the beautiful Wicklow hills, just 30 minutes from Dublin, is Ireland’s first and only winery where wines from locally grown strawberries, blackberries and raspberries are created.

We look forward to seeing you and suggest you dress casually and comfortably, and prepare to have a relaxed and informal time with us. Either Brett or Pamela, the founders and winemakers at Wicklow Way Wines, will meet you and bring you on your personalised tour around the winery. (Please note you’ll be visiting a working winery, not a vineyard - we don’t use grapes in our wines).

You’ll see where the wines are made, and will be given an overview of the wine making process. Depending on the time of year you may see a fermentation underway and experience the sounds and aromas of the fermenting berry juices. You’ll see how each bottle of wine is handmade and then individually hand bottled, corked, labelled and numbered.

After the tour you’ll be brought to the tasting room, overlooking the vats of wine, for a wine tasting and food pairing. The three wines you’ll taste are Móinéir Irish Strawberry, Blackberry and Raspberry Wine, all of which are made without grapes. The tasting will include a pairing with two Irish cheeses and chocolate, chosen for their high quality and wonderful flavours, and because they pair very well with our wines.

The tour and tasting last around 60 minutes.

This ticket will be emailed to the purchaser and is the ideal gift, particularly if you’re not sure when you would like to visit.
